March Employee Spotlight: Henry “Buck” Lewis

Henry Lewis has been with the company for over 25 years. Having worked in every department over the course of his employment provided him with the skillset necessary to excel in his current role as supervisor.

Accomplishments at MECO:

Having the ability to work in several different positions.

Best advice:

I would tell new employees that there is plenty to learn here at MECO. The more they learn, the more valuable they will become to the company.

Next MECO Milestone:

To see the company grow and to see the employees grow to their highest potential.

Why did you choose this line of work?

I was young, one of the supervisors, Mike Harrell (Big Mike), was my friend, and the job paid weekly.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Accomplishing things. Seeing things through the complete process.

Outside interests:

I coach youth basketball

Favorite things about Omaha:

I enjoy family gatherings.

Favorite restaurant:

Fernandos
