MECO earns MVS award

MODERN EQUIPMENT COMPANY, INC. RECEIVES INDUSTRY AWARD

NOVEMBER 14, 2024

OMAHA, NE – MECO, a recognized leader in the material handling industry, has been awarded the prestigious MVS (Most Valuable Supplier) Award for its outstanding achievements in 2024 by their industry trade association, the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA). This is the second year that Modern Equipment Company, Inc. has received this award.

The MVS Award is a coveted accolade within the industry, with fewer than 10% of MHEDA’s member organizations earning this distinction. MECO’s continued recognition as a valued partner within the industry underscores a commitment to excellence, professionalism, and responsible stewardship.

MVS Award winners have demonstrated an overall commitment to business excellence by documenting activity in the following areas:

·       Industry Advocacy

·       Distributor Advocacy

·       Business Networking

·       Continuing Education

·       Business Best Practices

To qualify for the MVS Award, MECO was required to meet a series of criteria in a number of areas important to the companies who do business with them. In addition to confirming an ongoing commitment to safety and employee training, award recipients must provide documentation of active participation in a program that “gives back”.

“This is MECO’s first MVS Award. I am very grateful for the effort and commitment given by everyone involved who helped us achieve this recognition.” Mitch Schlater, President, Modern Equipment Company, Inc.

“In the midst of an everchanging world one thing that has not changed is the ongoing excellence of Modern Equipment Company as they work with MHE distributors to take care of customers.” Duncan Murphy, President, Riekes Equipment Co.

“The MVS Award recognizes the best-of-the-best in our industry and is displayed with honor.” Nate Storey, President, Storage Solutions, Inc. and 2024 MHEDA Chairman.
