December Employee Spotlight: James Brown

James Brown started in the welding department over 19 years ago and continues to work as a welder today.

What is you biggest accomplishment at MECO:

Teaching new employees.

Next MECO milestone:

Actually, retirement.

Why did you choose this line of work?

I have always loved welding.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy welding, people, learning new things.

Outside interests:

I like sports (mainly hockey), auto racing and foorball.

What advice would you give a new employee:

Work hard and good things will happen.

Favorite restaurant:

I love barbeque, so my go to place is Famous Dave’s.
